SM-UM2 – Universal Speaker Mount Medium

Dual-axis speaker swivel for medium-sized studio monitors

The Triad-Orbit Precision SM-UM2 is a professional universal speaker mount designed for the latest generation of medium-sized studio monitors, particularly for Immersive Sound and multichannel installations. Its universal design accommodates speakers weighing up to 20 lbs / approx. 9.1 kg with a compatible two-hole mounting pattern.

The dual-axis design provides independent pan and tilt adjustment. Built-in locking teeth securely hold the tilt position, while the powerful pan mechanism keeps the horizontal adjustment firmly in place. This allows each monitor to be precisely aimed at the listening position and reliably secured once aligned.

Depending on the speaker model, the SM-UM2 can connect directly to the monitor or be combined with an appropriate Triad-Orbit Precision adapter plate or bracket. This universal approach makes the system particularly useful for professional installations using different speaker models.

The SM-UM2 can be mounted directly to a suitable wall or used with the optional Precision WM-2 wall/ceiling mount. Its back plate is designed to slide directly into the WM-2, simplifying installation in larger multichannel and immersive audio systems.
