SM-WM2 – Wall and Ceiling Mounting Plate Medium

The Triad-Orbit Precision SM-WM2 is a compact, medium-sized wall and ceiling mounting plate designed specifically for the SM-UM2 Speaker Mounting Swivel. Its innovative slide-in design simplifies professional speaker installations by allowing the speaker and swivel assembly to be completely prepared before it is attached to the wall or ceiling.

Instead of assembling and aligning individual components while supporting the loudspeaker in its final position, installers can first connect the speaker to the SM-UM2, configure the assembly and then slide the completed system into the previously installed SM-WM2. This makes installation safer, faster and more precise, particularly in multi-speaker and immersive audio environments.

The slide-in mounting concept is especially useful for professional Dolby Atmos, Immersive Audio, surround, broadcast and post-production installations, where multiple speakers need to be installed and accurately positioned. It also makes subsequent servicing or system modifications considerably easier.

With compact dimensions of approximately 84 × 102.5 mm, the SM-WM2 requires very little installation space. The technical drawing specifies a 49.2 mm mounting spacing as well as M6 and M8 threaded mounting points, providing a robust mechanical interface for compatible Precision components.
